Lori Lawson

Lori is a project manager in CSG’s Healthcare and Human Services practice. She has more than seven years of experience in healthcare, including five years working in Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program. Lori has expertise managing workflow, policies, and procedures in areas including outside contractors, data processing, claims adjudication, and call center staff. She has experience using research, analysis of project metrics, and expertise to implement efficiencies that lead to improved outcomes. Lori spent four years as the Deputy Medicaid Director for the South Dakota Department of Social Services, leading IT project portolio management for all Medicaid system projects, replacement projects, and production issues. She also supervised several aspects of the program including the Claims and Provider Enrollment call center, the Program Integrity and Surveillance Utilization program, HIPAA compliance, and the Electronic Health Records program.
