Lori Lawson

Principal

Lori is a project manager in CSG’s Child Support and Healthcare and Human Services practice. She is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional with more than 10 years of experience in healthcare and child support. Lori has expertise managing teams, projects, workflows, policies, and procedures in areas including portfolio management, contract management, pharmacy benefit management systems, Medicaid management information systems, child support implementation, EDI management, data management, financial analysis, claims adjudication, state government procurement, operations management, program integrity, and call center management. She leverages research, analysis of project metrics, and expertise to implement efficiencies that lead to improved outcomes. Lori spent four years as the Deputy Medicaid Director for the South Dakota Department of Social Services, leading IT project portfolio management for all Medicaid system projects, replacement projects, and production issues. She also supervised several aspects of the program including the Claims and Provider Enrollment call center, the Program Integrity and Surveillance Utilization program, HIPAA compliance, and the Electronic Health Records program.
